AAPD/NOW FORUM
The "Emerging Leaders Panel" was facilitated by Harilyn Rousso, Executive Director, Disabilities Unlimited Consulting Services. Panel members were: Kelly Anthony, a Coro Fellow and the director of the Missouri Disability Vote Project; Susanne Beechey, doctoral candidate in the Gender and Socialy Policy program at George Washington University; Claudia Gordon, Vice President, National Black Deaf Advocates; Marissa Johnson, Chair, National Youth Leadership Network and education policy coordinator at Access Living; Latifa Lyles, activist and NOW Foundation board member; Elizabeth Macias, political science and communications major at the University of Texas at El Paso and Vic-Chair, Young Democrats of America; Sarah Triano, Youth/Education Team Leader at Access Living and co-founder of the National Disabled Students Union; Jaya Vasandani, global feminist activist; and Joy Levin Welan, women's studies major at George Washington University and president of the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance at the University.
