SUPREME COURT JUSTICES

Dear ADA Supporter:

On October 11, 2000 the Supreme Court will be hearing the Garrett case. The outcome of this case could result in portions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, ADA being declared unconstitutional.

These are the names of the 9 Supreme Court Justices that hold our civil rights in their hands:

William Hubbs Rehnquist - Age 76 John Paul Stevens - Age 80 Sandra Day O'Connor - Age 70 Clarence Thomas - Age 52 Stephen Breyer - Age 62 Ruth Bader Ginsburg - Age 67 Antonin Scalia - Age 64 Anthony M. Kennedy - Age 64 David Hackett Souter - Age 61

They are frequently nameless and faceless but their decision will determine the course of disability rights for decades.

See you in DC on October 3, 2000 for the "March for Justice" Send a message to the Supreme Court Justices.
